About This Game

Mighty Final Fight is Capcom's chibi-styled Famicom take on the Final Fight series — the whole cast redrawn in super-deformed proportions, and the gameplay rebuilt for one player with an actual RPG progression underneath the brawling.

You pick Guy, Cody or Haggar and fight through five stages of Mad Gear thugs. Defeated enemies drop experience points that level your character up, restoring health and strengthening your basic combos, while dropped food and weapons behave like the arcade originals. Each of the three characters plays differently — Guy is fast, Cody is balanced with a knife, Haggar is slow but overwhelmingly strong — so the level-up curve and the route through the game genuinely differ per pick.

  • Chibi SD restyling of the Final Fight cast
  • Experience and level-up system unique among the series
  • Three distinct characters: Guy, Cody and Haggar
  • Weapons and food pickups faithful to the arcade games

Tips & Strategy

Grind the first stage a little

Experience carries over and early levels are cheap. Clearing the first stage's enemies a second time by letting a few spawn waves complete boosts your level before the first boss, which makes the whole run smoother.

Haggar's pile driver is your boss answer

Grabbing an enemy and piledriving them deals heavy damage and is invincible during the animation. Against bosses it is the highest damage-per-second option, as long as you approach from behind.

Guy's dash covers huge ground

Guy's running dash is fast enough to cross most screens before enemies react. Use it to escape swarms, reposition behind a boss, or grab pickups before they time out.

Keep food for between waves

Food restores health but only heals what it heals. Eating at full health wastes it; save pickups for the moment after a wave clears so the health carries into the next fight.
