Fallout 4 is an open-world action RPG developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, released on PC on November 10, 2015. Playing as the Sole Survivor of Vault 111, you search the ruins of Boston and the Commonwealth for a missing child while choosing between competing factions. It replaced the earlier skill system with S.P.E.C.I.A.L. perks, added a layered armour and weapon crafting system, and introduced a voiced protagonist. Settlement building lets players construct and defend their own outposts, and long-running mod support — through the in-game mod browser, the Creation Club and the community script extender — keeps it one of the most heavily modded games on PC. The Game of the Year Edition bundles all six major add-ons, including Far Harbor and Nuka-World.
